About Sequoia

Established in 1992 by MD Steve Wall and two colleagues, Sequoia has become one of Europe's most knowledgeable centres of Supply Chain Management in the FMCG sector. We work with businesses to help them deliver lowest cost to serve by providing independent and honest assistance backed up by robust analysis, management support and training. We aim to leave the anal in analysis - whilst taking the con out of consulting.
By using data driven analysis to harness both our client’s and our own management insight, we can give incisive answers to difficult business problems - an approach we term "Numerically Assisted Thinking".

As well as having the technical and numerical expertise and experience, Sequoia aims to develop strong personal links with our clients. That is why many companies enjoy working with us and continue to value our input time and time again.

We are based in the UK with a small, tightly knit team of consultants ranging in age and experience that have been hand picked for calibre and aptitude. Our values include giving all staff a voice in the business – which at the time of our foundation we recognised would constrain our size to no more than 15 people.

We have a specific desire to make a difference on the social and environmental front.
Our most tangible activity in this area has been our work with the village of Chome in Kenya, where we have funded the building of a school and have now set up a micro-finance facility to provide small development loans to the villagers.

We are also active in researching how the environmental impact arising from Supply Chain activities can be evaluated and accounted for – and to this end are able to advise clients on how carbon offsetting can address the impact of infrastructure changes arising from the review of their Network Strategy.
